PRONOIA
Pronoia regenerative destination — guest walking toward the lagoon pool

Founder & CEO

Janick Couturier

The Ritz-Carlton, Raffles, Burj Al Arab — then twelve years in Indonesia and an estate of his own in Jimbaran. Phase 1 is built, sold and operating; the founder lives inside it.

The experience

A hotel career applied to a village

Janick Couturier, founder and CEO of Pronoia
  • The Ritz-Carlton
  • Raffles
  • Burj Al Arab (Jumeirah)
  • CEO, Finns Group Bali

Janick Couturier trained where standards are not negotiable: The Ritz-Carlton, Raffles and the Burj Al Arab under Jumeirah in Dubai. He then led Finns Group in Bali as CEO — twelve years in the Indonesian market, on the operating side of it.

That career matters for one reason: a villa estate is not a set of buildings, it is a service that has to run every day. Pronoia is his own project, designed and managed by someone who has run that service at the top of the industry.

The vision

A village for people who cannot stop to recover

The idea behind Pronoia is disciplined: build a place where people under sustained load rebuild capacity without stepping out of their lives — private-pool villas inside an operating recovery destination, with the work floor inside the environment rather than an hour away from it.

It is deliberately not a gated row of houses with a brochure. The destination came first: programmes, recovery infrastructure, restaurants and offices operate today, and guests rate the running estate 4.8 on Google. The villas are built into that working organism — a village made in the right order.

How it is built

What his experience changes in practice

One name on the delivery

The founder lives in the estate, runs the team and signs the handover personally. You are not buying from an anonymous developer behind a brand.

Hotel discipline in the build

Materials, dimensions and service patterns come from luxury-hotel operations — the background you feel the moment you enter a villa.

Proof before promises

Phase 1 is built, sold and operating at 75–90% occupancy (operator-reported). The village grows out of a working destination, not out of a masterplan on paper.
